Ingredients used to prepare Sprouts Salad Recipe :
- Chana – 100 GMS
- Moong – 100 GMS
- Matki – 100 GMS
- Chola – 100 GMS
- Cucumber – 01 PC
- Tomato – 01 PC
- Pomegranate – 01 PC
- Apple – 01 PC
- Salt – 01 TSP
- Black Salt – 1/2 TSP
- Black Pepper – 1/2 TSP
- Groundnut Oil – 02 TSP
- Corriander Leaf – FEW
Instructions for preparing Sprouts Salad Recipe :
- Rinse the mixed sprouts thoroughly under running water.
- Soak them in water for 8-10 hours.
- Drain and rinse the soaked sprouts and let them sprout for another 8-10 hours, rinsing them a couple of times a day until they have sprouted to your desired length.
- Wash and chop the vegetables (cucumber, tomato, apple) into small, bite-sized pieces. Also peel the pomegranate.
- Finely chop the fresh herbs (coriander)
- Now in a big vessel steam the sprouts under medium flame as per your need.
- After the sprouts are steamed well, remove it in a plate.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sprouts, chopped vegetables, and fresh herbs.
- Add salt, black pepper, black salt, groundnut oil & mix well.
- Adjust the quantities of oil, salt, and pepper to suit your taste.
- Gently toss the salad until all the ingredients are mix with the sprouts.
- Transfer the sprouts salad to a serving dish or individual salad bowls.
- Garnish with a few fresh herbs on top for a decorative touch.
- Serve the sprouts salad immediately and enjoy as a nutritious and refreshing meal or side dish.
