Pattice Stuffing
- Potato – 750 gms
- Maize starch powder – 100 gms
- Coriander leaf – few
- Sugar – 02 tsp
- Ginger & Green chilly paste – 02 tsp
- Cumin seed – 01 tsp
- Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 01 tsp
- Grated coconut – 100 gms
- Peanuts – 100 gms
- Kismis – 02 tsp
- Groundnut oil – For frying
Green Chutney
- Coriander leaf – 01 cup
- Peanuts – 02 tsp
- Green chilly – 02 pcs
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Lemon – 01 pc
- Grated coconut – 02 tsp
- Cumin seed – 01 tsp
- Water – 08 tsp

Instructions: Bateta Farali Patice
Step 1: Prepare the Bateta Farali Patice Stuffing
- Cut the potatoes in half and boil them for about 6-7 whistles on high flame.
- Roast the peanuts until aromatic. Remove and mix with grated coconut. Grind the mixture.
- Cut the kismis into pieces and mix into the peanut mixture.
- Add ginger & green chilly paste, salt, sugar, cumin seed, black pepper powder, and coriander leaf to the mixture. Mix well. The pattice stuffing is ready.
Step 2: Prepare the Green Chutney
- Add coriander leaf, grated coconut, green chilly, salt, sugar, lemon juice, and cumin seed to a mixture jar. Grind well.
- Remove the chutney into a bowl. Your green chutney is ready.
Step 3: Prepare the Potatoes
- Once the cooker is done with the whistles, remove the potatoes and let them cool down.
- Peel and mash the potatoes until smooth. Add salt to taste and mix well.
Step 4: Shape and Fry the Pattice

- Shape the patty into a concave shape with an open top like a bowl. Fill it with the stuffing and seal carefully without breaking it. Repeat for all patties.
